"What you are to be, you are now becoming."    - Carl Rogers

I am a licensed professional counselor associate (LPC-A), under the guidance and supervision of Claire Mulford, LPC-S, LCDC. I have several years of experience working in community mental health agencies with a diverse range of clients, including children, teens, and adults. I have worked with individuals with various mental health concerns and diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, trauma, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. I enjoy teaming up with clients to navigate a variety of challenges, including relationship and family issues, major life transitions, exploration of personal values, self-expression, boundary issues, and development of healthy coping skills.

My aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space that allows clients to explore and process past experiences and current circumstances that are keeping them from living aligned with their truth and values. The foundation of my evolving therapeutic approach is person-centered, meaning I follow the lead of the client and highlight their own insights in a way that leads to learning and meaning-making.

I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling.
